The morning kicked off with an enlightening seminar session led by our President, Mr. Victoriano T. Yap, on “Digital Transformation for the Construction Industry in the Age of AI.” This session delved into the essential shift companies must make towards digital transformation, addressing the main challenges that construction and engineering sectors face today. It underscored the importance of adopting new technologies to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving industry landscape.
The session featured a case study for project owners using Construction Project Management on the Cloud, presented by Mr. Jo Alibanto, Jr., Head of Power & Utility at Bureau Veritas, and an existing client of CIM who has embraced digital transformation using Autodesk Construction Cloud. This real-world example highlighted how digital tools can lead to more efficient project management and better outcomes.
Afternoon Hands-On Workshop
In the afternoon, participants joined a hands-on workshop titled “Connected BIM and Project Management,” utilizing Autodesk Construction Cloud. This practical session, led by Engr. Charmane Javellana, Project Officer at CIM Technologies, Inc., allowed attendees to directly engage with the tools and understand how integrated platforms can streamline project management and enhance collaborative efforts across project stages.
Deep Dive into Autodesk AEC Collection
Further enriching the day’s agenda, Mr. Christian Bairan, Senior Technical Solutions Specialist at CIM Technologies, Inc., dove into the capabilities of the Autodesk AEC Collection. He demonstrated how these comprehensive tools can significantly optimize workflow efficiency for professionals within the industry.
